I recommend using the Curt Discovery NEXT Trailer Brake Controller # C84VV with the Universal Wiring Adapter # C51515 for your 2005 American Revolution LE motorhome. The Discovery NEXT is a time-delayed controller so it sends pre-determined power back to your trailer brakes instead of activating them proportionally.

As your motorhome already has a 7-Way # PK11898 it will likely already have a converter on the motorhome. I have included a image of the pinout on a 7-way so you can verify if the tail lights are already converted. A Test Light # PTW2993 can be used to test the wiring.
